Ministry of Industry Announces New Leadership Appointments

JAKARTA – The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) has appointed 13 new high-ranking officials to leadership positions, and 5 special staff members, during a ceremony on Monday, January 13, 2025. Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita conducted the ceremony at the Ministry of Industry in Jakarta.

The newly appointed officials include Setia Diarta as the Director-General (Dirjen) of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronics Industry (ILMATE). Other appointments include Eko S.A. Cahyanto as the Secretary-General of Kemenperin, Putu Juli Ardika as Dirjen of Agro Industry, and Taufiek Bawazier as Dirjen of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile Industry (IKFT). The ministry also appointed Reni Yanita as Dirjen of Small, Medium and Miscellaneous Industry (IKMA), Tri Supondy as Dirjen of Industrial Resilience, Regionalization and International Industrial Access (KPAII), and M. Rum as Inspector General of Kemenperin. Andi Rizaldi was named Head of the Standardization and Industrial Services Policy Agency (BSKJI) and Masrokhan as Head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI). Arus Gunawan was appointed as Expert Staff to the Minister for Deepening, Dissemination, and Equitable Distribution of Industry.

In addition, Minister Agus Gumiwang appointed Doddy Rahadi as Expert Staff to the Minister for Business Climate and Investment, Adie Rochmanto Pandiangan as Expert Staff for Strengthening Domestic Industrial Capabilities, and Emmy Suryandari as Expert Staff for Accelerating Industrial Transformation 4.0. The five Special Staff to the Minister of Industry (SKM) appointed were Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono, Emmanuel Lestarto Wanandi, Febri Hendri Antoni Arif, Gatot Sudariyono, and Neil Iskandar. These appointments are based on Presidential Decree No. 11 of 2025 and Ministry of Industry Decree No. 3305 of 2024.

“All high-ranking leadership positions in the Ministry of Industry have now been filled. Hopefully, everyone can carry out their mandate and duties with full responsibility, especially in advancing the national manufacturing sector,” said Minister Agus after the inauguration. The new leadership is expected to drive growth and innovation across Indonesia’s industrial sectors. The specific areas of focus for the new staff include industrial development and cooperation, connectivity and logistics, legal and oversight, communications and strategy, and inter-agency relations.
