Cecep Mochammad Yasin appointed as Director of Mineral Business Development
Jakarta, Indonesia – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, officially appointed Cecep Mochammad Yasin as the new Director of Mineral Business Development (PPM) within the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal, in a ceremony held on Thursday, January 16, 2025. This appointment was part of a broader series of leadership changes within the Ministry of ESDM.
The formal ceremony took place at the Chairul Saleh Building, located in the Office of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Prior to this appointment, Yasin served as a Middle Expert Policy Analyst within the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal. His new role as Director of Mineral Business Development reflects the ministry’s strategy to strengthen its leadership and management of mineral resources.
In addition to Yasin’s appointment, several other key positions within the Ministry of ESDM were filled. These include:
- Achmad Muchtasyar was appointed as the Director General of Oil and Gas.
- Nasri was appointed as the Head of the Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency.
- Qatro Romandhi was appointed as Inspector I at the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
- Arif Fajarudin, a member of the Indonesian National Police, was appointed as Inspector V within the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
These personnel changes across multiple sectors within the Ministry of ESDM highlight the ministry’s dedication to improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
